Having commenced his career as a graduate with Telstra, Nic held various segment and category marketing roles over 9 years, across both consumer and business divisions, including management of the Telstra Pre-Paid product portfolio. He subsequently joined Alcatel Mobile as the first Head of Products and Marketing for the APAC region, leading them from #7 to #3 ranking in Australia within his first 12 months, before relocating to London to join O2 Telefónica UK, the world’s 2nd largest operator, leading a team across Consumer, SMB and Enterprise as Head of Connectivity, Communications and Future.

He then moved back to Australia to lead the SMB Marketing Strategy for the newly launched Business NBN division, responsible a segment charged with delivering 80% of the divisions target of $1.1b in recurring revenue by 2022. Nic has now joined Virtual IT Group as their first GM of Products and Marketing, seizing the opportunity to call upon his experience to achieve the next level of growth for the company which has gone from strength to strength, and is passionate about building a people centric brand, driving key partnerships, focusing on enablement, and delivering a world-class, business outcome focused suite of products, services and technology solutions.

Nic holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing and Management, with a minor in International Studies, from the University of Wollongong. He has a passion for fitness, football, rugby league and eating out (he hates to cook!) and is a father to an amazing boy, with his wife, Renae.
