How Greenhouse Medical Practice Coolalinga Moved to Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure
Greenhouse Medical Practice commenced operations in Coolalinga in 2017. A family-run doctors’ clinic with a focus on providing exceptional care to the local community, Greenhouse Medical is a general practice that partners with various allied health professionals who operate out of the Coolalinga center. They provide additional services like psychology and podiatry to their patients.

The Challenge
Greenhouse Medical had servers located in their office, which is subject to blackouts, particularly during the wet season, which takes up most of the year. When these blackouts occurred, everything would stop working – their phone system, email, file access, and the clinic would revert back to pen and paper.
The Solution
Greenhouse Medical engaged VITG to find a better solution for them, migrating all files and email into Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure, thereby removing the need for onsite servers.

The Results
Now, when there is a blackout, the clinic is not impacted as much as before and can continue to work and receive calls. There is no longer a need to replace their server every few years, which was an expensive and time-consuming project.
“Now, being in the cloud, all issues have been resolved, and VITG manages the new server, making it so easy. No need to constantly upgrade servers; if we need more space or anything, we just call VITG, and it gets sorted quickly. I really appreciated that VITG’s founder, Jacob Ohlson, was involved from the start. He took the time to meet with us over Teams and talk us through the project. Even though we’re a smaller clinic, he always had time for us.
